Future Fiction

This project envisions a fictional future where fashion reflects the time and the people’s lives. I was really inspired by the sheen and patterns found on my mood board, which very organic patterns in life translated into looks. I included various silhouette structures but kept a similarity of pattern and elements such as keyholes/cutouts.

I created a 5 look collection plate and 2 final outfits fully sewed by myself. These looks were then featured in the ‘Re-Fashioned Show’ at the University of Illinois.
